I used the Katchy right next to the sink where the gnats or fruit fly problem was the worst. It only caught 5 bugs in a week of operation. They seemed to be flying around it mockingly. Some would say that it was working and I should have kept it. In contrast, a bowl of apple cider vinegar placed 20-25 feet away from the sink attracted more gnats or fruit flies. Perhaps, Katchy works better for some other insect types and just didn't work for the type that was "bugging" my house. — The seller or Amazon shipped quickly AND sent a replacement quickly when the first one was missing parts. Originally, my product review was a 3 star rating. However, when I returned the second Katchy for a refund, the seller would only return $40 via electronic gift card in exchange for deleting my product review. Katchy was listed as "Amazon Prime with Free Returns." There were no listed "conditions" for refund. Shady & dishonest. They should have just honored the refund T&C or not offered "Free Returns." I deleted the review, got my refund, spent the gift card value on other stuff and reposted this updated review.
