Bought two of these because we are giving the Cable Co. the Boot, too much for nothing to watch ! After all we "Used" to get buy with just Antenna TV. With all the Streaming services and a Simple Antenna we would be good to go. Well not with this Piece of Garbage Antenna. Advertised to work as far as 180 Miles away. We are 30 miles from the Farthest TV Station Antenna around here that is on a Hill I can almost see from my place with Binoculars... In other words line of sight. People who get this to work must live in the Broadcast center for their stations... So, I waisted 4 hours of my Life , TRYING in Vain to get a Local Channel to come in. And out of the Three Major Networks, NONE of them come in ! Only thing this antenna would get is some obscure Shopping channels and some Sub-Channels, of which all the Sound on the ones that would come were in some bazar staccato garble that's not worth hearing. Yep, I followed all the "trouble shooting steps" . Stuck the Antenna High up on the Walls, moved them around in Both rooms, ( on opposite ends of my house) and re-scanned, and re-scanned, and re-scanned, and still all I got was unusable. Tried the close setting, tried the far setting with the amp plugged in, and unplugged, everything I could reasonably do. No I didn't stick the antenna on a Window, I don't live in a Slum, and I'm not having the Neighbors call and complain thinking I'm trying to pick off their Wi-Fi with some special super secret spy tool. I tried to think of a way to make these work, really I did. You can't run the Antenna wire into the wall, and up into the attic, because it's all one piece, it doesn't unplug from the amp, and there's no power to get up there. I could get it higher in the Attic, that's about all I could think, but seriously, an Antenna that says it will pick up from 180 miles, and it can't even get a signal from a tower 30 Miles away... Um NO ! Sending these Back !!!
