Now we have only had it about 24 hours so i will update in a week or so but so far very disappointed. I have two dog a pom and a yorkie shitzou. The yorkie (Gemma) we have had since she was a puppy but was a rescue. She has barked at everything!!! One time last week she barked non stop for 4 hours!! She hates Joggers!! I read the reviews and saw videos and was hopeful. I am very against shock collars and so far the only thing that makes her stop barking is water guns. Keep in mind 6 years of barking!! The pom we have had almost a year she is 11 and also a rescue. Very rarely barks but is learning too from Gemma. So we put the collar on sensitivity 4 when we received it yesterday morning. She barked a couple times and it did not go off. So we kept turning up the sensitivity. It is now all the way up. It will go off when she jumps on the couch but only 50% of the time when she barks. It never goes off if she growls, whines, or chuffs. I am hoping we just have to figure it out and will update in a week or so. Also when it goes off she runs to the door. I have no idea what that means. UPDATE: had the collar a month and it does nothing. She no longer cares when it beep or vibrates. I wish it vibrated every time she barked instead of beeping twice first. It is set to the highest setting and only picks up barks very rarely now not sure why. We did change the battery just Incase the only place we could find the batteries was Menard’s. If anything barking has increased. Very annoying. As I’m writing this she has barked for an hour and a half so far this morning without stoping.
