★★☆☆☆
Multiple small problems make this app a pain
I wish there were other options to listen to Audible content on my Android, because this app just isn't ready for release yet. I subscribe to a radio show (3~4 hours a day, 5 days a week) through Audible, and using this app to control the episodes become tedious very quickly.
1. The Library system is cumbersome. It is very difficult to manage shows more than a week old. On my device, any shows over a week old are no longer shown grouped with the more recent shows, and it becomes a scavenger hunt to find a screen that will show them. On top of that, older shows no longer show the date, which makes it difficult to figure out which show you're managing without playing it. Give me a screen that lists every show on the device, in chronological order (or any order I pick) with the show title and date prominently displayed, and you'll get another star.
2. There is no option to seamlessly start the next show when one is finished. Which means I need to go into the library system and try to figure out which show is next. There's no indication in the library system if a show has been played or not, and if I'm more than a week behind, as I said before there's no indication of the show date, either.
3. Sometimes it loses my Audible login information. Seems to happen randomly when I reboot the device. I've had to make my Audible password ridiculously easy to accommodate the Android keyboard.
4. There's no way I can find to completely delete the show "Your First Listen", which means it sits in my library listing taking up space.
Two stars because it does work to listen to Audible content. But the file management side needs serious work.
