I run a cat rescue, and have my own personal cats in my home. I have made it a mission to try every kind of litter, litter box, litter system there is. lol I do go through a lot of automatic litter boxes. This used to be the best brand, by far. When last I needed to buy replacements I had seen some negative reviews on here, but had hoped that those people had just gotten bum items, or were just the kinda people who complain about everything. I went ahead and bought a couple more of these, anyway, because I know from experience that they are very good. No longer. Sadly, this litter box is pretty much less than worthless. I don't know why they'd redesign a decent product to be a piece of crap. The rake doesn't reach to the bottom of the box. It doesn't scoop out the clumps and logs. In fact, all it does is to break them up and smear them around, so that I can't even scoop them out with a regular manual scooper. Can't say how frustrated I am. My Litter Robots were a pretty penny, but they work great, and definitely have paid for themselves many times over in litter savings! I guess I'll just have to stick with them until a better product is produced.
