I got the Gear Fit as a late Christmas present from my husband. I was thrilled.. we are a tech-addicted family and I had a lot of fun tinkering with the Fit, apps, customization etc. I enjoyed the heart rate monitoring. Overall, the device was fun and a big upgrade from my FitBit. However... After about 3 weeks, the watch started acting flaky. It was laggimg, freezing, and I had to reset it at one point. Then, one night, as I was falling asleep my wrist began to sting. I realized that the pain that didn't seem to make any sense was coming from the Fit. I took it off, and felt the back of the unit - scorching hot! To be safe, I put it in a non flammable location before going to sleep. It would not turn off and the battery wouldn't quit discharging. The next morning, I woke up to find a blister on my wrist. I contacted customer service, who seemed helpful and promised a full refund after I returned the defective unit. This was over a week ago, even though the box arrived in 1 day and I sent it back the following day. So far, I'm really disappointed in what could have been a very cool product.
