OUCH
So, yeah. If you can find it in yourself to ignore the over the top cliche of the entire plot then you may enjoy this book. However, I doubt it.
Problem number 1: This author thinks that bobcats and cougars are the same thing. They are not, aside from being different species, one looks like a house cat and the other like a 90 lb. lion.(as in mountain lion)
Problem number 2: You can ignore the mooning, cooing and the 'omg! he's so hot' ing that makes up the constant inner dialogue,(seriously folks, are any teen romances based off of something other than sexual attraction?) but you cannot ignore the blatant inflation of his character. He's so nice, he likes animals, he works in the zoo and saves baby ducklings, he saved her life he's cute and funny, I mean he's practically a god, and not in any interesting way either.
Problem number 3: Sorry, but the writing is awkward and convoluted. And the massively corny declarations of love don't stop coming the further you read, I know, because I tried that.
So despite numerous glowing reviews, I am only giving it one star, because frankly, it was painful to read.
