latency is issue. You rev the engine and it takes a half second for it to show up on your phone. I had another unit (more expensive) that didn't have any lag. You get what you pay for. Also, if I leave it connected to my vehicle the alarm goes off when I turn off the vehicle (2018 BMW X3). This might just be a flaw with my vehicle. I do not have the other OBDII adapter to see if the issue is with this adapter. This unit is good for pulling codes. That is it. If you try to use it for revs and throttle input setting it is too slow to respond and will show you your inputs one second after you inputted them. Spend the $70-$80 and get a better unit.
