I am truly sad to have to write such a bad review of a book. I normally try to think about the author and how it would make them feel after putting in such hard work. This book , however, doesn't seem to have a single author ( which is no big deal) and appears to be ( possibly) google-translated! I only say this because all of the wording is awkward and some words used incorrectly. To make things worse, the language is not really well written for children ( who it appears to be aimed at) . This books one saving grace is the artwork, but each story only has 1 picture to go with it, which in my opinion doesn't make it work the nearly $20 I paid for. Truly disappointing :( Here are 2 small example of the writing: 1) Just then he came to a little hut. He pushed open the door and went in. It was empty. To be sure there was a little mouse sitting on the table, daintily combing her whiskers, but a mouse of course doesn't count! "There's nobody here!" Veikko said aloud. The little mouse paused in her toilet and turning towards him said reproachfully: "Why ,Veikko, I'm here!" 2)There was once a peasant who had a son, whom, when of a proper age, his father apprenticed to a trade; but the boy, who had no inclination for work, always ran home again to his parent; at this the father was much troubled, not knowing what course to pursue.
