To open, cut plastic combination wheels
I bought one of these for the shed in my yard. Not that I was expecting 'Grade A' security from a combo lock, but this one suffers from remarkably poor implementation. To set your own combination, you remove the plastic combination wheels, exposing four metal cylinders, each marked with a red striped notch. When all four are aligned with the 'Master' logo, the lock opens. The main flaw in this design is that the combination wheels are made from plastic. To break this lock, you only need to cut and remove one of the plastic wheels and align the red notches. If the combination wheels were made from metal, this lock would actually be pretty nice for what it is meant for, but in its current incarnation, Master Lock might as well have manufactured the whole thing out of plastic.
