I am giving this a 1 star because the product is defective and falsely advertised. The problem with this product is that the rubber used in the middle of the bone is not the same quality as normal "Black Extreme Kong" toys. The end of the bone are of the normal density that you would expect when ordering Kong toys and it seems like it will last a while. The middle that connects the 2 hard pieces of rubber is much more bendable and thus easily chewed through. It took my border collie less than 30 minutes to break it up. If you are ordering a Kong toy, especially the Extreme Black editions of Kong toys which are supposed to be made with the most sturdy of materials for extreme chewers, then this product is falsely advertised. The rubber feels more like their light blue or red line of rubber and they just dyed it black to match the ends. Seriously, go to your local store and just pick one of these up and feel the difference in materials from the end pieces to the middle and the "True Extreme Kong" products. This causes an extreme problem as now the dogs who are chewers can choke and die on pieces of rubber due to the company trying to cut costs. I'd be fine with the product if it wasn't using their Extreme Black color scheme and Extreme marketing and they kept it as blue or red...but dont sit there and lie to the customers and say its extreme when only a portion of it is...not when the lie can kill our beloved pets.
