Since there are 2,000 reviews, I doubt mine will even be read so I'll keep it brief with the issues with it. The only thing I want to preface this with is that my stick up cam is VERY close to my wireless router (less than 10 feet) with only the outside wall between the two, and also that I have a 110Mbps downstream pipe and 30Mbps upstream pipe for my internet connection. - the battery life is ABYSMAL. I get a couple of alerts a day, nothing crazy, and the battery lasts a month, tops. sometimes only a few weeks. - it is SLOW to catch movement. I thought I was getting a lot of false alerts because I'd review a recording and there would be nothing there. Upon further testing/investigation, I discovered it's just super slow to go off. For example, I have it set to catch motion from something the size of a car at the end of the driveway, but when I pull into the garage and get the alert, the recording will only show the tail end of my car, if that, pulling in. - live view takes FOREVER to load. I've been inside my house and hear something outside that isn't setting off the motion sensor, so I'll try to kick off live view and by the time the 15-20 seconds it takes to load the live view is done (sometimes as much as 30), the activity is no longer there. - the motion zones are pretty crappy and primitive. I also have the ring doorbell and it's WAY better, allowing you to draw an outline of where you want your motion settings to be. This is just a pie chart situation where you can turn on or off certain wedges of the half pie ( see picture) and adjust the "distance". I use quotes because it's not really distance, it's the size of the heat signature, which poses another set of problems that I won't get into because no one is going to read this review. All in all, it's terrible and the only reason I'm adding a star is because their customer service is pretty good.
