While the bandwidth of the device makes it desirable, a Standby function that CANNOT be turned off or otherwise manipulated makes it into a worthless choice. I have been using the device for about 3 hours and been disconnected from my router no less than 10 times. I need to point out that I am an IT professional, and I immediately went looking for solutions. There are numerous threads about this particular design choice (I cannot say flaw as Netgear seems to have don it intentionally), and the end result is that this product goes into power saving mode when it decides to and there is NOTHING the owner can do about configuring it.
