The Engineers Ruined a Good Thing
I got this gauge for a second car, having the previous model of the gauge for another vehicle. The previous model was wonderful; accurate, easy to read and it turned on instantly when pressed onto the tire valve. Then someone decided to "improve" it by adding a button to turn it on. When pressed it takes a second or two to actually turn on. That's OK, but it stays on for only 15-16 seconds. So, if you check the air in 4 tires, and they are all low a couple of pounds you wind up pressing the "ON" button, measuring the pressure, putting some air in, pressing the "ON" button, measuring the pressure, and repeating that sequence until the pressure is correct in that one tire. Then repeat that for 3 more tires. By the time you're done you have pressed that darn button at least 8 times, and probably twice as many times because how often can you add just the right amount of air the first time.
Not a lot of wasted time, but man, is it ANNOYING!
