So want it to work for me since it is free of paraben, silicone, fragrance etc.. But how imprudent of me for not checking its ingredient list before I bought it. The top ingredient after water is Phenoxyethanol, a preservative which can highly irritate skin, lung and eyes according to its Material Safety Data Sheet. Sure enough, after the first use, I have to return it because my face and neck became red, patchy, itchy and had slightly burning sensation. I thought my skin has to get used to it so I left it on for hours but it only felt worse. Once I washed it off and splashed my skin with organic rose water, thankfully, my skin was able to calm down in a few minutes, but still itchy. That's when I checked the ingredient list and found out the top ingredient after aqua is a known skin irritant preservative. I feel so stupid that I spent so much time reading the glowing reviews but not reading the simple ingredient list on the product page. Lesson learned.
