The absolute WORST! Overpriced for weakest blender I’ve ever owned. Being Greek, I have a lot of family & friends in the food industry & restaurant business. Vitamix USED to be reputable for putting out a quality product, but not anymore. From what I’ve been told, even the commercial models can’t keep up with regular use, they break down often, parts and labor are astronomical, and overall support from the company is as bad & slow as can be. Everybody who has told me who switched to another blender go so far to say that the switch actually helped their bottom line in profits. This residential unit struggles with shakes & smoothies. I recorded a shot of this blender struggling with my baby daughter’s breakfast mix. Just cereal, banana, & milk... it’s what actually pushed me to this review. This program is supposed to start at 5 then jump to 10, but it doesn't even make it halfway. try to listen how it struggles. Forget anything with ice. Anything more than just a couple cubes puts a lot of strain on the motor & you can feel and smell it begin to overheat. I use 6 small ice cubes, Max, & it’s too much for the machine. That said, I’m going to provide pictures of the size of the cubes I use below (later, post post). Vitamix is coasting on their old reputation and pushing out a poor product on all fronts. Avoid them to avoid a headache. Good thing I didn’t get rid of my Breville. At least that one is reliable.
