After a few uses over the past few years, the large casserole dish exploded after placing inside a preheated oven. It literally, violently shattered. I did some research, and the company has stated that their glass cannot stand dramatic temperature swings over a short period of time. Such as placing the glass at room temperature into a 400 degree oven. I no longer trust PYREX brand glassware. Imagine if I was removing the dish from the oven when it shattered. This product is dangerous, and shouldn't be used for basic baking.
