Would give zero stars if I could. I moved into a house with 5 of these and they started going off at 3am. I figured they were 8 years old so I chalked it up to the units' age and bought 5 more. In under 2 years the false alarms started up again. Today was my last straw as they were blaring for no reason when I walked in from work. God only knows how long my poor dog had to suffer listening to these pieces of garbage. I had no idea which unit was causing the issue since they all go off, sending me into a panic as I ripped them off the ceiling. I will NEVER purchase this brand again and am opting to have a security system to monitor actual functioning smoke alarm units that don't traumatize my family. I never leave reviews but I am just so angry that something that's supposed to give me piece of mind is now causing me stress and anxiety.
