This machine worked exactly as show in the infomercials, for 3 days. Then, using it for the 3rd time, I smelled the motor overheating. I checked for clogs and everything was clear. I took the brush bar out, and despite very little hair being on the brush, there was pet hair and dust caught in the brush bar bearings, and it was HOT. I tried removing the visible debris with tweezers but it was really packed in there tightly. When I pulled on a little puff, it started pulling out even more from underneath. Who knows how much more is trapped in there. As I said, I only used this vacuum a few times. I vacuum 3 bedrooms and my living room daily, so there's never very much to clean up at one time. I empty the canister after each room, even if it's not full, and I clean the hair off the brush after I'm finished every day. I do this with every vacuum I've ever owned. It's not like this problem happened after weeks or months, or as a result of poor maintenance. This happened in a matter of days! So I packed it back up and I'm dropping it off at UPS later today. I've owned Shark products before and I was very happy with them. I didn't expect to have any problems with this and it's very disappointing.
