Bad/Horrible Company to do business with
As a business owner myself I'm reluctant to write this review, however, I have given Aquasure numerous opportunities to correct my issues in which they failed to do. Aquasure is NOT a trustworthy, honest, or reliable company to do business with. Please save yourself the headaches in chose a different company.
Before I purchase the system I called and spoke with Allen on multiple occasions about which system I should purchase. I provided Allen with all the information concerning the water in my home such as the hardness level (330ppm) the amount of chloramine (3.6ppm) that the local water company uses to treat the water, number of bathroom (3), and the number of people in my home (2). According to aquasure user manual the maximum tolerance for chloramine is 2ppm. The chloramine in my water is almost twice the max allowed limit of the system.
Allen told me that 48,000 grain system would work best for my home based on the information I provided. He also recommended I buy "Aquasure Fortitude High Flow Whole House Water Filter". After purchasing both recommended items I decided to verify what Allen had recommended with other companies. After doing a little research on my own I discovered that I made a horrible mistake listening to Allen (I thought he was the expert). It turns out that Allen was completely wrong when he told me bigger is better which is why he recommended 48,000 grain instead of the 32,000 grain system that I actually needed. Also the filter he recommended was NOT design to filter out any chloramine.
Long story short Allen sold me a system that would have destroyed itself, probably within months, had I not verified whether Allen knew what he was talking about. When water with a chloramine level of above 1.0 ppm passes through a water softener, the chloramine will oxidize the resin beads. This oxidation will affect the softening process and drastically shortened the life of your resin.
When I tryed to return the system in order to purchase the correct system I needed which happened to cost an additional $700 aquasure refuse to pay return shipping. It cost me $120 to return everything to them. To make matters worse aquasure turns around and charges me a 20% restocking fee.
Please do yourself a favor in stay away from this company because they are not a customer friendly company.
Once they have your money they will ignore your calls and complaints.
