I was very happy with this unit for the first 3 weeks. Then I woke up one morning, walked past the machine as I pushed the power button, and within 5 seconds I heard water splashing all over my countertop. The pump started running without heating, closing the lid, or even pushing a button. I had to hit the power button several times to get it to stop. Fortunately, Amazon is sending a replacement and I will be happy to update this rating if the new unit works properly for a period of time because the coffee is great and convenience is there, but now that I see others have had the exact same problem, I have questions about the quality control. UPDATE - The replacement unit made it three months before it started doing the same thing as the first unit did, shoots out water when you first turn on the power button before heating, closing the lid and selecting a cup size. This one's going back to Keurig and I would really like my money back at this time. My advice, stay far away from this unit, there are better choices. UPDATE #2 - The third replacement unit made it 8 months before having the same issue of shooting out water when the power button is pressed on. Once again, Keurig is replacing it at no charge, but why not take the time to fix the model so they don't have to keep replacing them? I'm not the only one having this issue. UPDATE #3 - The fourth replacement brewer failed after 6 months, same issue of shooting water out when pressing the power button. Keurig is sending another replacement. I will never buy another Keurig, but will happily accept a new unit a couple times a year until they give up on this model. Do yourself a favor and choose a different brand. Keurig quality has gone downhill since the original units were manufactured.
