I received this Mug Warmer which I ordered from Amazon and it was in perfect condition, clean, nothing seemed to be wrong. I first used it at my workplace and in the first day it was just perfect and I was talking to my colleagues about it. They very much liked how it looked. One thing I don’t like about it is that there is auto time-out limit. So I am all day thinking about not to forget to shut it off before I leave the office. First day, I turned it off and I left the office. Next day I came and it is also turned off and the touch button is Red. However, the surface was so so hot. i lifted the device and the office wooden surface was also so hot.. when I tuned it on, I noticed that It was on the highest temperature. Thank goodness it didn’t cause any fire (especially during the night when no one was in the office). So I just unplugged it and stopped using the device. The next day, I just wanted to make a test, so I plugged it but left it switched off (button Red). I was surprised that it was heating up even though it was switched off!! So I just stopped using it at all just to avoid hazard. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t make sense for me to return the device from Saudi Arabia due to device price VS shipment fees and I am not sure if all the devices would be just the same. The Seller did not reply to whether all their devices are the same or not (may be part of their inventory is defective and they probably know). Also, they refused to re-send me a proper functioning device.
