If you are looking for a soft cotton blanket like one you get in hospital, pass on this purchase. See how stiff and cardboard-like it looks in the seller's photo? ... that is how it is! I washed and dried this as recommended on the the tag, hoping it would soften up. It shrunk about 2" on both length and width, and is still as stiff as when purchased. This is not my first cotton blanket --- others I have had have been soft (not fluffy, but soft and welcoming) --- this is hard and stiff. I took a photo of the 'blanket' to show you; it easily stands up about 18" high with no support. A 'blanket' shouldn't stand up on its own! Wish I could return it, but now that I've washed it, doesn't feel kosher.
