My heart is broken...acorn changed their quality!
To start I am disabled with multiple rare diseases that leave me with incredibly high pain..my feet are the worst area. I have tried every slipper out there and the acorns I got about 8 years ago were a Godsend! I read the bad reviews saying how they changed and had to see for myself since these were the only slippers I could tolerate to walk in. To my dismay, they did change. The most important part the cushiony memory foam sole. Its NOTHING like the old ones. My foot feels the floor immediately. They were sewn poorly which made permanent wrinkles under the lining of the inside of sole (the foam wrinkled up feels like). The acorn symbol you can feel immediately since the cushion is much lesser as opposed to my older ones which I could still feel on a horrible princess and pea day but the cushion distracted since it eventually sunk in cushion. These do not feel like true memory foam, they just go flat. The material on the outside seems to be similar to original quality but I cant say for sure as my old ones are wool. You can see in the picture how the wool have worn over the years to be fuzzy but the soles are still going. Acorn has let us all down who depended on their footwear for comfort. I used to tell everyone about acorn, obviously not anymore.
