I ordered the Zevia in an attempt to wean my husband off of Coca Cola which is loaded with high fructose corn syrup. He wasn’t particularly keen as he says it leaves a bitter aftertaste but the main reason I have rated this so low was because the cans were held together by plastic six-pack rings, which is completely unnecessary as they are sold packed in boxes. Plastic rings are extremely damaging to wildlife, especially marine wildlife. As well as contributing to the ocean plastic issue, turtles and other marine animals get tangled in them with very dire consequences. Neither Coca Cola nor Pepsi use these plastic rings anymore and Zevia really needs to follow their example.
