What a nightmare! Spent an hour and a half trying to pull my daughter's long hair out of this hair trap on Christmas morning. Tried to take it apart and not break it but after all the screws are out it still will not come apart because they put a rivet in the handle to prevent you from doing so. Eventually the handle broke at the rivet and after removing all the motor screws you can get the thing apart enough to slide the hair off of the barrel and down the wires of the motor. Then there is less tension on the hair that is all wound up you can begin to untangle it. Not how I wanted to spend Christmas morning!!!!
