If it wasn't for the terrible choice of materials for the sides this thing might be fine. The description states: "Thoughtfully designed, the quilted mattress pad’s knitted fabric sides easily stretch to fit mattresses up to 18 inches thick, including extra-deep pillow top mattresses or mattresses with a foam topper. The pad offers user friendly placement—no need to wrestle with the mattress. Once in place, the mattress pad stays put, even when shifting or rolling over while sleeping." On the pad I received, the sides are made out of a very thin, slick and not very stretchy material that needs to be re-tucked every morning, because the sides will not stay in place under the mattress. The pad wrinkles as you sleep so you end up with a super uncomfortable wrinkle under your back in the morning.
