I REALLY wanted to like this series. After having read some reviews on Amazon, I thought I would give it a shot. Ayeee what a mistake! I don't understand how so many people could give this series five stars! Mind-boggling! I had to literally force myself to watch each and every episode because it was so dreadfully boring and predictable. Guy and his family visit a small summer tourist town, guy meets waitress, guy falls in love with waitress, their significant others find out, waitress begs guy to leave family, etc etc....YAWN. I found myself hating both Allison and Noah and their selfish ways. The actress that plays Allison, Ruth Wilson, I found out is an English actress and I'm not sure about everyone else but, I found her American accent to be particularly difficult to understand at times. And Noah's wife, Helen, finds out about the affair and forgives Noah, only to find out that he didn't actually stop the affair like he said he did. She boots him out of the house and then begs for him to come back months later?? Spare me. Luckily I only spent $9 on this season, even though I think that is still too much money for this garbage.
