I usually buy Cuisinart because they USED TO HAVE great customer service. This was my second unit. The on/off button came loose and fell off. When I called customer service for a replacement part, they said "no" and that I had to pay to ship it back to them and pay for it to be shipped back to me, which would have cost as much as the unit. It was still under warranty. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM CUISINART AGAIN.
