We adopted a border collie from a family who was moving and couldn't take him with. They neglected to mention his anxiety issues and now I have been scrambling to find some way to keep him from ruining my home while I am at work. We hung this scratch guard with the included adhesive in the room where he is kept. By the time I got home that night, it was in three separate pieces on the ground. I certainly didn't get my money's worth out of it, and for almost the same price I got a sheet of 1/4" thick plexiglass at Home Depot, cut to the same (actually, slightly larger) size. My husband cut a hole in it, took the doorknob off, and replaced the doorknob over the plexiglass. It's worked for three weeks or so, so far, and my dog hasn't been able to make a dent in it.
