Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

In the one week I've owned this thermostat, it has disconnected completely from wifi. The icon disappears from the screen and then I can't get the thermostat to connect. The option to do so disappears. Seems all of the 1 star reviews are this same issue. How there are higher reviews is astounding, and I'm starting to believe that Amazon reviews are bogus. I've owned programmable thermostats since the 90s so I'm really familiar with them. This was really easy to set up and I had it up and running in minutes. Then it completely went offline and would not reconnect until I removed and reconnected. Twice. I'll give it a couple of days. If the problem persists, I'll return it.. this unit was purchased for the upstairs ac unit, as it's not used much..I could easily just let it run on it's built in schedules, but I could use my 90s model for that.
