I do not write many reviews. The issue I have with many reviews is they are written shortly after purchase, before durability and usability can be adequately evaluated. I usually will not write a review shortly after receipt. I only write reviews if a product significantly exceeds or fails my expectations after a meaningful period of time. I bought this product in Nov 2017. By April of 2018 the carrying case and holster broke. The kickstand component had broken earlier. I was willing to live with that issue as,while nice, it was not crucial. However, then the latch on the clip-on holster which holds the phone in place broke. I contacted the company assuming they would stand behind their product, as it was about 6 months old. I provided an explanation and even sent documenting pictures, as requested. On the positive side, customer service responded quickly. On the negative side, the response I received was, "I have reviewed your order details and found that you purchased has passed 30 days warranty period. The best thing I can offer you is 100%discount code coupon for the holster which you can use on our website ... However, you just need to pay S&H charges." The shipping and handling charge is $5.65. Currently on the website the cost of the holster is $7.99 Thus they are requiring I pay 49% of the cost to replace what I consider to be a defective product. Further this "opportunity" only covers the holster and does not replace the damaged kickstand. For perspective, I only used the holster about 50% of the time (i.e. about 3 months of holster use). It is disappointing that a company that makes a product whose very essence is durability, ONLY PROVIDES a 30 DAY WARRANTY. THE NOTE, a complex piece of technology, COMES WITH A YEAR WARRANTY, WHILE THE ZIZO, the device whose sole purpose is durable protection, IS WARRANTED FOR 1 MONTH! I thought about availing myself of their offer and might have done so if it would have fixed both the holster and kickstand for a cost of $5.65. However, after considering the situation, sending more money to a company with such poor product support to only partly repair the defects seemed like the wrong approach. Instead, I decided to write this review. As they say, forewarned is forearmed. BUYER BEWARE. If one reads through the reviews, I believe the issue with the holster and kickstand are mentioned. I should have listened. To try to be fair, I will state that the glass protector has held up well.
