I researched massage chairs for months before I settled on this one. Price point was big for me but the seriously positive reviews totally contributed to my final selection. I have a bad back, arthritis, fibromyalgia and a stressful job that makes me tense and adds to all of my other issues. I sat in a massage chair at a local furniture store and fell in love. However that one was about $700 more and I wanted to cut the cost a bit. I’m 5’4 and about 135 lbs for reference, and that is far too short for this chair. The shoulder massagers hit the base of my head when sitting normally and the butt massager (which is very weak) hits my things just past my knees. If I scoot way up uncomfortably I can get it to hit near the right spots, but that is not relaxing or comfortable at all. Some of the rollers are less padded and more uncomfortable than others. I bought this one because it has the buttocks massager, I sit all day for work and need that. They were terrible. However the lower back one hurt so bad I legitimately have a bruise from using it twice. And I’m not sensitive, I enjoy deep tissue massages. So something is wrong with that. The heaters may as well be non existent as I felt no heat both times I used it. I had my husband sit in it to make sure it wasn’t just me finding it intolerable. He’s 6’ 170 lbs and he was too tall for it. He agreed it was not comfortable. Aesthetically it was very nice looking but did not meet my needs at all. I need a chair with a moving track that can adjust to height, and has more features. It’s just low quality if I’m sharing my honest opinion. Classic case of you get what you pay for. I went back to my local furniture store and bought the more expensive option as a result of this one’s failure.
