I have been using Coconut oil for pretty much everything throughout the last year: Skin Moisturizer, Acne relief, homemade Shaving Cream, Foot balm, Medical ointment, Mouthwash, Homemade deserts such as Chocolate, to cook with instead of butter etc etc. As such, I have tried a few brands (Trader Joes, Nutiva, and This one) and this one by far takes the cake! It is MUCH smoother and softer than the other coconut oils I have tried, making it easier to melt, apply, and get out of the container in general. It, also, tastes and smells much smoother and is creamier than the other brands. I cannot recommend this product enough! **** Update **** Unfortunately, I have to change my rating. The first jar I received of this was perfect! So smooth, light tasting, melted really well. However, the second giant jar I received was MOLDED! Fuzzy moldy circles all throughout the product that were visible the second I opened the lid! GROSS! I use this as a mouthwash and body moisturizer and am VERY allergic to mold so this could have been extremely bad had I not noticed the strange spots... Very disappointed. Hopefully, I can find another Coconut Oil to replace this one. Leaving 2 stars as it was the best coconut oil I had ever used until now. *****UPDATE AS OF 2/6/16***** So, I don't know what changed with this company but I can't stand by them anymore. The first jar and a few subsequent ones were great, however, I have officially received more molded jars than healthy ones which makes me wonder about the quality of the other jars too... Customer service was great when I told them it had mold and sent me a new one which was fine for 2 weeks but now has mold as well (on the very bottom and I'm only 1/4 of the way through so nothing I did). There must be something wrong going on with their storage facility! As I said before, this was the best of the best but I simply can't keep saying it's the best when I have received more molded jars than not in months. Switching to a different brand. :(
