Wow! Who is this person impersonating Hannah Swenson??? And what is this about the “rational” mind vs “suspicious” mind?? Was that ever in the series before?? I do not remember that.... and wish the author would forget it!! Sheesh! The awkward conversations... would you really keep calling someone by their name over and over again during a half hour conversation?? 🤷🏼‍♀️ It seems this author has not moved on with the times and wants to keep her characters in the innocent 1950s. If that’s what she wants, fine, but don’t place your setting in 2021 if you want 1950! What independent woman wants to be coddled like she was 14 forever?? And don’t even get me started on the numerous recipes.... if I wanted a cookbook, I’d buy a cookbook!!! And lastly, nobody believes 2 men would hang around for years hoping Hannah would finally make a choice.... although apparently Hannah chose Ross over either one of them! What was that about???? They both would have moved on years ago. (The final Hallmark movie was more realistic as to any relationship Hannah might have with either man!) I said after the last book that I was about to abandon this series, but I couldn’t resist giving it one more try. Sad to say this was the last straw. Sorry to say that, but I’m not paying $14 for another Hannah Swenson book that would be a disappointment! 🥲
