I bought this to store my knives in a drawer. Really everybody's preferences are different and in my case I do not like the product. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality but it just doesn't work for me. The biggest problem I have is that all of the knives slide backward out of the slots when I open the drawer. Possibly I have deep-seated angry drawer opener syndrome, or maybe I'm just always pissed off when I'm reaching for a knife. Whatever the case, I found this to be quite annoying. I did remedy this problem by elevating one end so that the knives are now stored in a slightly downward-pointing position.
