I remember when Zukes first started making dog treats, it was the only treat we would give our Bella (Italian Greyhound) But I just read that Zukes was acquired by PURINA in 2014, and you know how many major pet food combines are NOTORIOUS for recalls due to them putting who knows what in the pet foods. I was watching the newly made pet food documentary and it made me want to check who makes our fur babies treats. We cook her breakfast and dinner at home by making it fresh from Veggies and Real proteins. But we like to give her treats once in a while and Zukes used to be the one we would only buy but not anymore. They are now being vague with showing the true ingredients that’s in the treats. I will never buy Zukes ever again. And I won’t recommend it to anyone. DONT SUPPORT PURINA!!
