I purchased this book as it was a recommended book given on the Classical Conversations website. Please note that this is simply a reference book. It does have some very good information but not enough to create a functioning skeleton to drape a reading/writing/spelling curriculum on. Further grade-specific books are required to implement this program. The book is excellent in describing how the curriculum works - but the description on the CC site and on Amazon gives the buyer a very distinct impression that this is the primary source for implementing a successful program. I am not reviewing the program itself - it does look very interesting - but simply stating that this book is not a curriculum in and of itself.
