Adfree?? NOT! Loaded with advertising code.
There are all kinds of suspicious things bundled with this application that is advertised as supposedly ad free. Here is a list: Admob Mobfox Adsense Those three are all IN APP ad providers and yes they are definitely embedded in this version. This app also contains the following embedded code: Google analytics (collects usage data for targeting ads, etc.) Google cloud messaging (can be used to spam notifications) Facebook (need I say more?) I do not even want this app on my device long enough to review the game itself because I don't recommend you install it at all because they're lying about it being ad free... there's all kinds of adware code embeded in this app- this is absolutely not adfree. Adfree means even the code is not there! Ad FREE means ad FREE. You, developer, don't get to install it on my device for any reason if you are selling the app as ad free. I am uninstalling it now after I checked it and I will not run it. I will not even install it long enough to find out whether or not it's malicious-- it's not even going to get the chance to screw up and clog up and violate my device. I've had it up to here with developers like this! 1 star is one too many. UPDATE: Some people are claiming that this code is perfectly fine in the application because it is supposedly unused. I hate to burst any bubbles but I am afraid that they can't possibly know that for sure. So I have made a generic response that I'm posting trying to help them understand that they cannot actually be correct about that assumption 100 percent of the time. I post it here also as an FYI: "Are you a programmer? Well, I am. For over 30 years now. And it is my review that you are criticizing. No offence, but unless you're a programmer you may not understand the implications and ramifications of embedding the code into the application anyway Since it is third party code, the programmer of the first party application does not always have a say in whether the code is actually turned off or not, actually. Much of this adware code runs anyway, collects data anyway, and transmits that data to the third party host companies anyway. The programmer often has no say in the matter. That is the part I don't think you understand. I hope that you understand it better now. :) The code being there at all is not safe and is a potential security risk."
