I purchased the Samsung 55 inch back on May the 23rd. Until Nov 18th, the TV was great overall until I woke up to a small burn out dot on my panel. As I spoke to Amazon and Samsung, the dot began to crack throughout the TV panel. I placed an order to have it repaired and the TV wouldn't turn on for the follow-up pictures. Samsung named the cause as physical damage, in which, has been proven by photos that physical damage was not the cause. After research, I found someone with the same problem on the Samsung community forums. Do yourself a favor and go with an LG or at least, forget the warranty. Samsung did not honor mine.
