I’ll start by saying I have and love many Skip Hop products. I got this for my 3 and 1 year olds for Christmas as the bath shower head does not have an extender, and they both like showers. We used it with no issue for the first night (last night) and tonight, after I ran some bath water (so I know what the temperature was and I did NOT change it), I changed to using the shower head. All of a sudden, my 3 year old started screaming bloody murder and her skin was bright red. It was A MILLION degrees. I quickly flipped the switch on the yellow handle and was trying to comfort her. While holding her, covered with soap and water, the hose EXPLODED!!!! We had scalding hot water spraying all over us, the walls, and my 1 year old. It was a nightmare, this is not an exaggeration. It was one of the most horrifying experiences I’ve had as a parent so far. I will absolutely be emailing Skip Hop as this product is clearly defective and I want a refund!!!! What a waste of money and more importantly, it has completely traumatized my 3 year old who loved the bath. It could have sent her to the hospital. I am livid. Do not make the mistake I did by buying this!!!!!!
