This thing is a plastic joke that I would have thought was a kids toy if it wasn't for all the small parts. It's so bad I'm embarrassed to return it. 1) you have to place the lenses less than 1/2" from what you are trying to see, and closer for higher magnification. No detailed work can be done 1/2'" from your face. and there is no adjust-ability. 2) the eye pieces are so far apart, and you to be 1/2" from the work you are observing, each eye sees a field of view 1-2 inches away from the other. The meager 5 deg adjustment provided does not come close to providing binocular vision. I tried bending the cheap plastic frame to focus both eye pieces on the same object, but I couldn't bend the frame nearly far enough to see the same field of view in both eyes. 3) maybe it will work for a Halloween costume, but that's all I can think of. Don't think this product is good for anything. It's totally useless awaste your money
