Was very excited about this product but it came damaged!!!! :( I have many other Melissa & Doug items from puppets and puzzles to play food. I've purchased high quality wooden toys since my 3-year-old was a few months old but this item was not as expected. About 10 of the blocks came chipped in a weird, ill looking way. Like the edges were discolored, cracked, and almost looked rotten. These are so unsightly I will not use them and many other blocks came with small cracks that are just a disappointment... I may have received a bad batch but for the price it's not okay. I will think twice before purchasing Melissa & Doug products online. The blocks are small so having one third of them come damaged makes building more limited.
