These bibs are buttery soft, cute as a bugs ear and super light weight. That being said, they're absolutely useless for work. I bought them thinking that they would be the same material as mens bibs, just cut for women. You know, shorter in the body but longer in the leg. Well, they are cut nicely and fit great but the material is like a shirt. If I try to do my welding job in these bibs I'm going to get burned a lot. They will be good for gardening, but don't buy them thinking that they are for real work. Apparently, Carhartt thinks that women only have nice , soft, fluffy jobs where no one needs protective work wear. For shame Carhartt.
