I purchased this grinder three months ago and it gave my wife and I (no children) good service until recently several weeks ago the pepper grind became courser and courser until yesterday when th grind mechanism broke completely off at the housing. I am very disappointed that I am left with a useless grinder after such a very short time of light use. Our last battery powered grinder lasted over nine years. Hopefully the manufacturer will read this and do what is right. If so I will upgrade my review.
