This rating is more of the purchase of a refurbished product from a third party retailer, especially the one who sold me this Powerbeats 2 In-Ear Headphone. I've read other complaints of customers purchasing this refurbished product but was hopeful when reading their third party policy... "Only select sellers who maintain a high performance bar may offer Certified Refurbished products on Amazon." Apparently, this retailer must have fallen through the cracks as the Powerbeats headphones I received had a missing cover from the multi-function button exposing a circuit board. Not only that, the earpiece was obviously dirty and had clear signs of the previous owner's ear wax. The whole unit was distinctly dirty and looked very used. Please see the pictures of the unit right when I opened the box. I ended up purchasing the "Powerbeats 2 Wireless In-Ear Headphones" BRAND NEW. Since Beats already has version 3 out, it was on Sale for only $35 more then the refurbished version. I'd say it's well worth it new. I run marathons and these headphones stay-in for the whole time, unlike other in-ear headphones. I've purchased / used several other brands before deciding with the Beats. The Anker SoundBuds and Yurbuds Bluetooth earbuds were all disappointing for my use of long distance running. So I recommend the Beats, but would NOT recommend a refurbished version! Again, see the pics before you decide to purchase yours. Hopefully, you won't end up with the ones I had. Good luck!
