Stupid premise, absurd movie.
I can't see why this movie is getting all the praise. It's just an updated (and, yes, petter produced) version of DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS", except the plot has even more holes and requires not just a suspension of disbelief, but a complete, slack-jawed acceptance of absurdity after absurdity.
After ten minutes, I was rooting for the aliens.
