I've been using Klein tools for 40 yrs. I bought this light and I'll grant you, it's pretty trick. But I chose this over all the others because at this price, I assumed it was made in America...it's not...it made in China. I will gladly pay a higher price for quality tools made in the USA. But in this case...I paid a "Made In America" price for a tool made in China that should have cost half as much. That's the problem we have with stuff made in China or Mexico...we don't get any price benefit from it. The labor rates in these countries are a fraction of those in America. So it stands to reason that the products we buy from overseas should be a fraction of USA built products. But no...some exec or some stockholder makes the money we should be saving. In the product description it sure makes you believe it was made in America...that's why I bought it and paid a higher price than virtually every other portable task light I saw. If I didn't need this tool for a project I'm doing right now...I would return it. But this is it...I'll never buy another Klein tool unless it's made in the USA. Hear me Klein?
