I am rooting for this new start up...their concept is very innovative. They are aiming to create a clock that wakes you up in the most effective, gentle way, by providing sounds that give you peace of mind. (With the objective of getting the iPhone out of the bedroom.) However, this product needs more refinement. Aesthetically, I love the look of the minimalist design, yet when it arrived, the glossy plastic housing felt cheap to me. I would have spent more money to have a more substantial housing. But the biggest problem and the deal-breaker for me was the poor quality speaker: many of the alarm sounds emitted static from the speaker (gongs, chimes, etc) It seemed like sounds at a certain pitch created this problem, some more than others. I would advise the company to do a little more quality control and take a closer look at this issue. *One final point, for a product that is supposed to be about simplicity, it is completely technology-dependent, in fact, if your wifi goes out, don't expect your alarm to go off.
