In concept, a great product to make sure your garage door is closed and secure when it needs to be. I have a detached garage and live alone, so this purchase was more about piece of mind vs. allowing access in/out remotely. I installed very quickly the day it arrived (5/31), opened and closed as it should...alerts came in immediately. It is all about the alerts. On 6/2 I was in the garage and opened the door from the internal opener switch, no alert! Closed it and that alert came through. Opened and closed again later in the day, both alerts came through. An anomaly?? I hope so! I was in the garage again on 6/5, tested for alerts, nothing on the initial opening, but notified of it closing and another test of open & close came through ok. Concerning! Today I opened the door and closed again, no alert either time. I am on hold with their customer service and at the time of writing, 8 minutes in without anything more than bad music. Extremely disappointed. The entire reason to have this product is to get alerted in the event of a break-in...it appears I cannot trust it will alert me. And yes, still on hold...11 minute mark and counting. Their customer Service" answered at 14 minutes and I couldn't understand the agent...had to hangup.
